We mapped 4,326 places, then shaped 292 into the public guide so the live site stays useful rather than exhaustive. Across those pages, 3,690 written reviews have been read and 1,455 evidence signals recorded.
Each place page states its own evidence base: it is shaped by the written reviews we read from a recent public review set, plus public links where available. Written reviews are read and coded into named signals — patterns such as quiet/calm, staff warmth, return visits, or work-friendliness — with the mention counts shown on the page. Those patterns help route pages into guides; they are a reading aid, not a ranking.
Quotes are verbatim from public Google reviews, attributed as such, and chosen to show the patterns above. Hours and practical details come from public listing data; confirm directly before travelling. Evidence signals are a first-pass reading of the review set — current opening, accessibility, menu, dietary, and booking details still need direct confirmation.
Editorial boundaries
Ordering remains editorial and practical. A correction, official link, or approved photo helps a page become more useful for readers. It does not create a paid placement, guarantee a wording change, or move a business above another one. Businesses can read the full boundaries on the for-businesses page.
